Social Media Management

 Burt's Place

As the social media manager for Burt’s Place, I am responsible for running, managing, and creating all content for their Instagram account. I focus on building the brand’s online presence by developing engaging posts that resonate with the audience and reflect the unique identity of Burt’s Place. 

After a few months of logging onto the account, I have grown Burt's Place following by over  50%. With the help of working with local influencers and also community accounts, I have also increased engagement and profile views by 94.1%. Burt's Place has opened a new location in Lafayette, Indiana, where I am in communication with the owner about content to post for our new location. 

We were also featured on Bar Stool Chicago, where @eddiebarstool mentioned us as his number one pizza spot in the Chicago Suburbs. I ran into him at a DePaul Basketball event where I got his email and invited him over to the restaurant to say thank you for shouting us out. He still comes in to this day!

Social Media Management

On the Spot Dermatology

During my time with On The Spot Dermatology, I played a key role in strengthening their online presence and building an engaged community around the brand. I created content and monitored the Instagram and Facebook accounts. I would respond to messages, create informative graphics, and run campaigns through Meta's Ad suite. From January 2024 to end of February, I increased content interactions by 220%. Here's some examples of my work:

Influencer Campaign for Stan's Donuts

Influencer Marketing

While in school, I had the opportunity to take a Social Media Marketing Class. This class was centered around running campaigns through Mimic Pro. We were tasked to create ads, write captions, and learn the difference between paid, owned, and earned media. We were also working with real life Chicago influencers to gain more knowledge on how to create a influencer proposal, how to pick the best influencer for our campaign, and strategize the best channel the influencer should create content on.

Our Goal

Throughout this project, we had to find a local Chicago influencer that best aligns with Stan's Donuts. Stan's represents community, friendship, and it gives that local coffee and bakery vibe. Each donut is served to perfection and each cup of coffee has a sprinkle of love and care. We had to find someone who would best fit Stan's identity, but there was more to it... 

Stan's ISN'T Just Donuts!

While on the search for our perfect influencer, Stan's Donuts wanted our proposal to not only focus on donuts, but focus on their coffee. They wanted us to center this campaign around coffee, with the goal of making it into a local coffee shop. Through our campaign proposal we asked the influencer to center their posts around Stan's coffee.

Digital Marketing

SEO & Website Redesign for Granola Factory

Digital Marketing can be a broad term. In this class, we learned all things SEO, running campaigns, Google Ads & Analytics. I learned about the importance of keywords and how to make it to the first result on Google. We also partnered with a small business seeking to better their website and differentiate themselves from other companies in their sector. 

The Problem

Granola Factory is a company centered around community as the owners discovered their love for granola when they were opening a bed and breakfast together. GF wanted to expand their business and become more visible, but they knew they that they had some competition.  Our goal for this project was to not only give their website a redesign to improve their SEO, but identify who their target market is to be able to generate content that is geared toward people who will actually see it. 

Our Solution

After comprehensive research and a couple of interviews with Granola Factory's CEO, we revamped their website to not only include a new landing page, but create a members - only Facebook page called "Granola Family". Granola Factory is centered on four values: real people, real ingredients, real artisanry, and real moments. By creating Granola Family, we let consumers into the behind the scenes of creating new granola flavors, community events, and even employee introductions. Along with Granola Family, we did intensive research on popular keywords that should be included on their website's landing page.

Logo Design & Branding

I have always had a passion for creativity, which naturally led me to discover the importance of branding and logo creation in my marketing journey. Through my experience, I’ve realized that a well-designed logo and cohesive branding can be the cornerstone of a business’s identity. It’s not just about creating something visually appealing—it’s about crafting a message that resonates with an audience and tells a story. My marketing background has shown me how strategic branding enhances everything from customer loyalty to brand recognition, and I’m passionate about combining creativity with strategy to build powerful, lasting brands.

Graphic Design

Graphic design is something I have recently picked up. I taught myself how to use Adobe Illustrator and took an Adobe Designs class where I also learned how to use Photoshop and Indesign. Whether it is working on a project for a club, or even a silly T-shirt design, I always try to bring my designs to life and create meaning for them. The following buttons will direct you to my designs. Most of these designs, I have partnered with a local clothing store called Evanston Imprintables, where I am able to bring my designs to life!
